About this event

  1. Each ticket entitles you to one week hunting starting on Wednesday and ending the following Tuesday.
  2. Dates are available from 3/4/2024 until 12/11/2024
  3. Tickets cover group bookings from 1-4 hunters (you only need to purchase one ticket per group)
  4. Access Top Marshes ​ap​proximately 3​ km in on the Monpeelyata Road off the Marlborough Highway (opposite Little Pine Lagoon)​​.
  5. Maps, access and safety information can be found here nre.tas.gov.au/DeerBallot
  6. Permits shall be emailed to successful hunters in March 2024
  7. Successful permit holders have to adhere to the permit conditions, including the terms and conditions.
  8. To ensure hunter safety, all hunters on Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) and Hydro Tasmania (HT) managed land must wear some form of hi-visibility/blaze orange clothing (i.e. hat, vest) to be more identifiable to other hunting parties.
