Description

Since APRA’s landmark statement on climate change in 2017, Australia’s financial institutions and regulators have bolstered their efforts to understand how climate change will affect financial stability, investment and growth. But are we doing enough to make sure we’re building our economy and financial system on sustainable long-term foundations?

In March, as part of our latest public forum on climate risk and sustainable finance, CPD is delighted to host a keynote address by Reserve Bank of Australia Deputy Governor Dr Guy Debelle on climate change and the economy.

Following his remarks, Dr Debelle will be joined for a panel discussion by Katharine Tapley (Head of Sustainable Finance, ANZ), Blair Comley PSM (Director, Port Jackson Partners) and Kate Mackenzie (Consultant, European Climate Foundation and CPD Fellow).

Please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your place. Drinks and canapés provided.
