Pubcraft Historical Society - The Archer

The Archer HotelNorth Adelaide, SA
Sunday, Mar 1 from 1 pm to 3 pm ACDT
Overview

Social knitting & crochet meet up at one of Adelaide's wonderful historical buildings (aka a Pub Crafting Group!) BYO knitting or crochet

Social knitting and crochet meet up at the Pub!

BYO craft project to work on while we enjoy a pub lunch.

All the pubs in Adelaide and North Adelaide are heritage buildings so we thought it would be fun to organise a "historical building tour" but with knitting, crochet or whatever small portable craft you can bring with you.

This group meets bi-monthly at one of Adelaide's wonderful historical buildings. This month we will be meeting in the Beer Garden at The Archer Hotel in North Adelaide.

The Archer Hotel, located on O'Connell Street in North Adelaide, is a historic puboriginally established in 1849 as the Huntsman Hotel. Rebuilt in 1882, the two-story sandstone building has served as a Lutheran Church library, bank, and radio station, before reopening as The Archer Hotel in 2003, noted for its large balcony and library.
