About this event

Late in 2023, new guidelines were introduced in South Australia outlining employers' obligations around providing a psychosocially safe workplace.

Leaders often express concern that their ability to effectively manage their people and achieve productivity will be impacted by the psychosocial guidelines set by WHS regulators, however employers are accountable for not only the health and safety of their workers, but their mental health and psychosocial safety too.

This not-to-be-missed, one day session will help you understand these obligations and the benefits of taking preventive action, as well as equip you with the tools to minimise psychosocial risks and maximise the overall health and wellbeing of your employees.

Food South Australia is proud to be working in collaboration with Preventive Health SA and the South Australian Business Chamber to present this program, developed specifically for the food and beverage industry, in partnership with Culturise, and at no cost to you.

At this in person, interactive workshop (including full day catering & free Zoo entry), Jo Marshall from Culturise will ensure that you and your team:

  • Understand the new WHS Regulations and Guidelines and your responsibilities surrounding mental health and mental illness in the workplace;
  • Have the necessary practical tools to implement the guidelines in your organisation – without losing management control;
  • Have your questions answered around workplace wellbeing, including common ones from the wide range of organisations Culturise work with;
  • Are equipped to very simply apply changes that not only meet the new guidelines, but improve team wellbeing and performance;
  • Can measure the impact to your bottom line.

Register now and benefit from a 6 month long support program!

(Please note: For those unable to attend in person, an abbreviated online version will be conducted from 9.00am - 1.00pm, on Tuesday 16 April 2024. Please refer to the Food SA events calendar for details.)
