Description
Bringing live contemporary dance to its spaces, The Lock-Up and Catapult Dance present PROPELLED #2, featuring collaborative works by Australian contemporary choreographers, composers and dancers.
Renowned dancer and choreographer Rhiannon Newton will collaborate with dancer Adelina Larsson and local musician James Maher to produce a new work of contemporary dance and sound.
Independent choreographers Omer and Sharon Backley-Astrachan will present the work TOHU - a physical journey that explores the universal behavior of humankind and investigates the cycles and patterns in the universe and the natural world.
Both of the performances in PROPELLED #2 are new works developed through residencies at The Lock-Up and Catapult’s Propelled Residency Program. PROPELLED will have two showings per night. Tickets are $10 per person. Children under the age of 10 are FREE. Bookings are essential.
