Event description

Description

The Van Diemen Project is excited to announce that we are running two more sessions of our business startup week, PROPEL.

These sessions will be run in Launceston and North-East Tasmania and thanks to funding from the Entrepreneurship Facilitators Program, an Australian Government Initiative, these startup weeks will be free for the selected candidates.

PROPEL will help kick start your journey of turning your idea into a startup business. This week-long course will provide you with the tools to test and refine your idea, introduce a range of core business skills, provide resources and information to keep learning and give you the confidence to start your new business with success. We also believe in action, so our Entrepreneurship Facilitator, Talitha (Taz) Devadass, will provide one-on-one, follow up mentoring action to help you apply the tools and techniques you’ve learned to starting and running your own business. Taz and the team at The Van Diemen Project will also help you map out your self-employment journey, whether it’s returning for more study, using the skills you’ve learned to gain more employment, entering a business incubator or actually starting and growing your new business.

WHEN: Monday, 18 June - Friday, 22 June from 9:00 - 4:00 PM.

WHAT: A week-long course to help you start your business with confidence. Follow up support with one-on-one business mentoring.

WHERE: Cowork Launceston, Level 2 Training Room, 93 York St, Launceston, Tasmania, 7250.

HOW: Book below for our Entrepreneurship Facilitator to contact you about the program. You can also read more and apply here.
