Event description
The Gold Coast's first youth organised and inspired sustainability event!

About this Event

Sustainable Youth is the Robina State High School Sustainabull’s inaugural ‘Project’; an event organised entirely by high school students and activated alumni that aims to cultivate an ongoing, meaningful, and co-creative space for Gold Coast youth to collectively engage with sustainability. We invite high school and university students from around the Coast to join us in this Project.

Core focuses of P:SY -

  1. Amplifying the volume on the GC sustainability conversation
  2. Embracing the complexity of sustainability
  3. Acknowledging the plurality of perspectives necessary to approach sustainability
  4. Exploring how the SDGs can be embodied & integrated in our everyday lives

Featuring -

  • Keynote presentation from a key youth figure working in the Gold Coast sustainability space
  • Q&A panel with 5 multi-sector panelists
  • 2030 SDGs Game Session (multiplayer card-based game that simulates taking the “real world” into the year 2030)
  • Interactive, hands-on workshops to engage in meaningful dialogue, network and learn practical ways to embody sustainability
  • Informational stalls showcasing local SDG action

Speakers and workshops will be revealed in the coming weeks... watch this space! Also, follow our instagram (@sustainable_youth) for more P:SY updates.
