Project Based Learning with micro:bit devices

The Gold Coast Chapter presents a range of events for teachers in South East Queensland. These events cater for all teachers across the spectrum of eLearning, ICT and IT experience. The emphasis is on fun, collaboration and building strong and supportive network of friends and colleagues.

QSITE Gold Coast

The micro:bit is a pocket-sized codeable computer with motion detection, a built-in compass and Bluetooth technology, which was given free to every child in year 7 or equivalent across the UK in 2016. It is a tool capable of assisting teachers in implementing Technologies implementation, particularly from upper primary to secondary levels of education.
What will you learn in this workshop:

<LI>How to run this in your class and what resources are required. </LI>
<LI>How to start with 1, 6 and 1:1 devices.</LI>
