About the exhibition:
Printed Protest is an exhibition featuring posters, banners and placards of activism and change from the 1970s to today. From the early days of Gay Liberation to Law Reform, the AIDS crisis and response, Marriage Equality and Trans visibility/rights. Printed Protest showcases the creativity and determination of the LGBTIQ+ communities through the imagery, messaging and artwork that pushed for change.
