Our modern lifestyle, surrounded by screens everywhere we go, overly connected and at the same time disconnected from one another, from nature and from ourselves is unsustainable. It impacts our physical, mental and emotional health. We are seeing how stress is now a constant for almost everyone, and how it can impact us long term.

It is time we take a moment to stop, take a deep breath, return to balance and reset, to our natural harmonious state of being. And the tool to do this is within each and every one of us. This tool is the BREATH.

The way we breathe is closely related to how we perceive and interact with the world around us. If we are stressed out, we will most probably breathe fast and shallow, which can create tension patterns in our bodies. While if we are in a state of calm, we will likely be breathing slower and deeper. And the most wonderful part of this is that we can affect it, we can control it. Yes, breathing is automatic but YOU have the power to change it to your liking, and in this way impact how you feel, your thought patterns, your physical health and so much more. Our breath is what brings all the aspects of our human experience together: mind, body, emotions and spirit.

Please bring a yoga mat and a towel to lie down on, and whatever else you feel you need to get comfortable, your swimmers, towel and a change of clothes if you wish to get changed at the beach.

What the event entails

🌬️ We begin with an informative talk exploring the science behind breathwork and its profound impact on our mental and emotional health. We will dive into the importance of restoring our natural flow of breathing and how it can enhance our overall health and vitality.

💆‍♀️ We then dive into a series of guided breathing exercises designed to create deep relaxation, cultivate stress management skills, and release tension. Learn powerful techniques to relax, manage stress, and feel empowered and calm amidst the demands of daily life.

🧘‍♀️ Once you are connected to your breath and attuned to the tension patterns you may be holding in your body, we will move to a foam rolling session! You will get to experience the power of releasing muscle tension and and this will prime your body for the next phase of the event.

❄️ The culmination of this experience is the ice bath session. You will get to immerse yourself in a portable bath filled with ice and water, providing an invigorating and revitalising experience for the mind, body, and spirit. You will get to discover the incredible resilience and inner strength that lie within you as you embrace the ice bath challenge for a transformative two minutes.

Who are Louren & Laura

Louren Katague

Louren is an experienced chiropractor working in Sydney. She has an abundance of techniques she utilises to allow a deep and meaningful connection with oneself. With experience in mind body medicine and kinesiology as a basis to her structural work she is connected with the depth in the body as it can relate to previous trauma, stress and overwhelm. As the body connects deeper she is able to hold the space for the emotions to move and space in the body to clear and open.

Laura Gutiérrez

Laura is a certified Master Breathwork Instructor, Health Coach, Sound Therapist, Healer and Emotional Fitness Formula Consultant. She’s been working in the field of Vibrational Medicine and Coaching for over a decade, supporting busy people to improve the quality of their relationship with change, stress and non-clinical anxiety and depression. Her passion is to help her clients navigate their current life circumstances in a more functional way so that they can start enjoying life with calm, confidence and on their own terms.
