Pride in Ageing: LGBTQIA+ Seniors Catch-Up
A welcoming monthly catch-up offering a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ seniors to connect, share and build a sense of belonging.
Feeling connected to community plays an important role in our health and wellbeing, helping to foster a sense of belonging, pride and safety.
Many older people experience barriers to feeling included, and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/gender diverse and intersex (LGBTIQA+) people, these challenges can be especially significant.
The Library is pleased to offer a welcoming, supportive space for LGBTIQA+ seniors and allies through a relaxed monthly catch-up. Join us for a friendly conversation, connection, and the opportunity to meet others in a safe and inclusive environment.
Dates: Fourth Friday of the month on 27/2, 27/3, 24/4, 22/5, 26/6, 24/7, 28/8, 25/9, 23/10 and 27/11. From 1 to 3pm.
