Event description
Using organic methods to manage manage pests in your edible garden

About this event

Sick of caterpillars on your cauliflower and snails on your spinach? Join Karen Sutherland from Edible Eden Design in this online workshop where we will learn about managing pests in your edible garden using organic methods. The workshop will cover prevention and treatment of common garden pests, as well as Queensland Fruit Fly, which is becoming increasingly problematic in Melbourne. There will be time for questions and discussion as well.

This free workshop is proudly presented by Moreland Community Gardening and the City of Moreland. No experience is necessary.

Please note that this is an event for City of Moreland / Melbourne gardeners only. Gardening is very context specific and we will not be taking questions relating to other areas. If you live outside Melbourne, please contact your council to find out what free sustainable gardening events are available locally.

If the event is booked out please join the waiting list to be notified if places become available or of future program rounds. If you have any questions please contact ltozzi@moreland.vic.gov.au
