Prowling into Sydney at the Hawkesbury Showground on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of June is an Australian-wide two-day prestigious Cat Show. The Australian Cat Federation will be holding this prominent event, hosted by Cats NSW, and the last National Cat Show in Sydney in 2019 featured over 360 cats and kittens including many of the country's top pedigree breeds of cats including Exotic Persians, large Main Coons, golden-eyed Burmese, floppy Rag Dolls, tiny baby kittens, and slinky Siamese along with many companion cats all competing for the top awards.
There is a lineup of International Judges from as far afield as the USA, Sweden, Germany, and Hong Kong plus well know Australian ones.
It is an excellent day out to see all the different varieties of breeds and to speak to many Breeders. There will also be stalls and all sorts of fun things to do on the day along with educational talks throughout the day.
The venue is: the Hawkesbury Pavilion, Hawkesbury Showgrounds Racecourse Road, Clarendon, NSW, 2756.
The show will be six rings Australian Open Style with top ten or fifteen placings for each group in each section (kittens, entires, and desexed). Three Rings will judged on Saturday and three rings on Sunday. The Supreme and best cats in the show will be held on Sunday at around 3.00pm – 4.30pm
All of the Cats NSW Cat Shows allow an educational element for both the Contestants and spectators alike where they can watch all the cats being judged and receive educational insights into what makes that ‘top’ cat supreme champion.
