This workshop is one of a series designed to assist students interested in applying for admission into one of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s postgraduate research degrees (Master of Music, Doctor of Musical Arts, PhD). In this workshop, we will discuss our application procedures, what our selection panels are looking for in research proposals, ways in which you might seek to answer research questions through your artistic practice, and how to approach potential supervisors. Workshop participants should be prepared to talk about their research plans with other participants.
The workshop is held on Zoom, and will run for 1 hour. These are quarterly workshops. For additional information, see our website.

At sign up you will be asked several questions such as which Higher Research Degree you are interested in. You will also be asked to provide a short (50-100 word) description of your intended research (e.g., this can be a general idea that is still in the works, or can be a more conceptualised proposal). This will be kept private, and is collected so we can best help you prepare for a Higher Research Degree.
