Powerful Pre-Writing Strategies
Explore strategies and techniques to prepare for a new piece of academic writing
All researchers are also writers. Are you thinking about a new piece of writing -- a chapter, journal article, conference paper or meaty blog post? Getting started with a new writing can feel hard, and you might be tempted to delay. However, there are clear strategies and techniques that can kick-start your writing process.
In this hands-on and interactive workshop, we explore strategies and techniques to set the stage for thinking about new writing; gather and play with writing ideas including from the literature; and set your focus to dive in and write. This in-person workshop is aimed at early-stage graduate researchers, but all GRs are welcome. Facilitated by Dr Rosey Chang.
*Please note this workshop is for Deakin University researchers only.
