If life has felt overwhelming, stressful, or harder than it should, you’re not alone. Many women spend years coping quietly, doubting themselves, feeling stuck.
Power Within – Growing Resilience is a gentle, supportive six-week program for women ready to strengthen emotional resilience and reconnect with their sense of capability. Facilitators from GROW WA will offer a safe peer space where you’ll explore ways to manage stress, navigate challenges, build healthier relationships, and develop practical strategies that support everyday wellbeing.
Along the way, you’ll not only pick up practical coping tools, but also connect with other women who get it.
Come along to learn how to tap into the strengths you already have within you!
What is in it for attendees (bullet points):
· Calm overwhelming emotions
· Handle life’s challenges with confidence
· Navigate loss and tough times
· Improve relationships and manage triggers
· Boost resilience under stress
· Understand the importance of movement for mental health
· Share experiences safely and openly
Requests from attendees: (e.g. bring water bottle, yoga mat)
· Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow for registration and seating
· This is a workshop/interactive session that runs on a Tuesday weekly for 6 weeks
· Participants are welcome to take notes or bring a notebook if helpful
· Please respect the privacy and experiences of others attending
· If you have any accessibility enquiries, please contact our friendly reception team with any questions you may
· The program is billed as a full six-week course and pre-paid prior to attending the sessions; participants are welcome to miss a session if needed and can continue with the remaining sessions however they will not be refunded for that session
· If you have changed your mind, please cancel your booking with sufficient notice to allow waitlisted participants to attend
The program is facilitated by GROW’s Program Worker, Abbie, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counselling and is currently completing her Master’s degree. She is passionate about raising awareness within the community and fostering open conversations that support positive mental wellbeing.
