Power Status & Influence Network Conference 2026 - Academic Registration

Power Status & Influence Network Conference 2026 - Academic Registration

Overview

Join us in Melbourne for the 2026 PSI Network Conference on power, status & influence — 3 days of insight and connection.

About this event

We’re thrilled to welcome PSI Network members to Melbourne for a stimulating three‑day event that brings together world‑renowned academics, thought leaders, and practitioners exploring social hierarchy — power, status, and influence — across disciplines.

Because the 2026 conference requires more travel than usual for most attendees, organizers Jen Overbeck and Nick Hays have designed a more substantial and collaborative format. The main academic conference spans two days, followed by a new program open to members of the business community.

Program overview

Days 1 & 2 — Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 March 2026

Program Chair: Nick Hays (Michigan State University)

A varied program featuring talks and interactive sessions from leading scholars across the PSI Network disciplines, plus evening social activities.

Day 3 — Monday 23 March 2026

Program Chair: Jen Overbeck (Melbourne Business School)

PSI Network members who have recently published books will share their work with conference attendees, alongside special guests from the Melbourne business community.

For the full program, accommodation options, and ideas for what to do in Melbourne, please visit the conference website here.
