Pottery workshop for community service professionals
A two-session pottery workshop designed for people in community service roles.
Take time out to nurture yourself and be celebrated for the incredible work you do for others.
Treat yourself or community service worker you know to a gentle time of recharging, connecting and creating with clay for fun.
Join Saskia for a two-day pop-up workshop designed for community service professionals, including:
- Health care workers (nurses, doctors, allied health, dental)
- Early childhood educators
- Teachers
- Childcare providers
- School Support Officers
- Anyone who contributes to the wellbeing of our community
It is time to put on your ‘oxygen mask' first, fill your cup so you can continue supporting others from a place of balance and wellbeing.
What to expect:
Friday 6 February, 4:30-6:30pm: Create your own cup to symbolise 'filling your cup first' before giving to others.
Saturday 7 February, 10am-12pm: Return to complete your creation and decorate with underglaze.
One ticket covers both the Friday and Saturday session.
Your pottery will be fired and brought back to Gallery 1855 at a later date to collect.
This workshop is delivered by Being with Saskia, in partnership with the City of Tea Tree Gully to provide high quality arts programming for the community.
