GameChanger Girls Esports Game Design Day

Welcome to an exciting STEM focussed day filled with creativity and innovation! Join us for a hands-on experience in game design specifically tailored for ACT girls interested in the world of games and esports. This event is a chance for students to collaborate in a supportive environment with like-minded peers, AI and industry role models, to unleash creative potential.

GameChanger Girls Esports is a free program for teams of girls and their allies to design games and host their own esports tournaments around those games. The program is designed for girls aged 10-16 to promote engagement in STEM in a fun community supported way. We primarily use Minecraft Education as the design tool, but the girls can use any game design tool they are familiar with or have a desire to learn.

This accelerated program will see teams of girls with game design idea come together in a one day design event. This event will offer the girls dedicated support, technical mentors and the opportunity to test how AI might be part of our collective design intelligence.

Games designed in this program can be entered into the inaugural GameChanger Girls Global community competition.
