Positive Breastfeeding Workshop 3 hours Small Group (Face-Face/Online)

This three-hour Positive Breastfeeding Workshop is held on Saturday morning from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, for women and their partners/support person. A short break is included.

Ideal for pregnant women and partners if:

• Attending the Friday, Saturday or Sunday Positive Birth and Parenting Workshop
• Women who have had previous difficulties breastfeeding
• Women who require additional information not provided in other programs.

The workshop is free for those attending the Friday, Saturday or Sunday Positive Birth and Parenting Workshop. You need to include your booking number when completing the registration page. Please select 'bonus ticket'.

This breastfeeding workshop is designed to give you the right information and support for breastfeeding your baby. The workshop is conducted by a qualified Lactation Consultant who will answer your questions, provide you with problem-solving strategies and boost your confidence so that you may successfully breastfeed your baby.

Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend. One ticket per couple.

• Normal behaviors for breastfed babies
• Identifying possible breastfeeding problems – and what to do
• Where to get help
• Dad’s role – a key to successful breastfeeding

Do I bring my partner along to all the classes with me?​Partners are encouraged to attend. If your partner can't make it then you can bring along a support person.

What can/can't I bring to the event? You may like to bring a snack. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? No

Can I update my registration information? Yes, you can return to the booking page to do so. Please ensure to use an Australian residential address and contact number.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You may print out your ticket or save on the eventbrite app.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund may be given only in the following circumstances:

• Premature birth
• Hospital admission
• Cancellation request 3 weeks prior to the class commencement date

If less than three weeks’ notice will incur a fee of $30.00. NO REFUND will be given for cancellation requests less than three days before a class commences. NO REFUND will be given for change of mind after the program has commenced.

Private Health Fund rebates are available. A certificate is issued on request.
