What is the dress code?

Polly Bar doesn’t have a strict dress code, but most patrons do dress in smart casual. You are always welcome to dress to impress though! Please no jeans or thongs (flip-flops), please.

Can I come later? Is there a lock-out time?

The doors are open until 9:30pm, so feel free to arrive anytime up until then.

How do I get to Polly Bar?

Public transport includes the route 11 tram, which stops outside, and routes 86 and 96, a 10-minute walk away. Paid parking is available nearby, with free parking on Alexandra Parade (opposite swimming pool), a 10-minute walk from the venue.

Will there be photography or video taken?

Accepted Answer

A professional photographer will capture performances; personal photography is not allowed. If you prefer not to be photographed in crowd shots, please notify the photographer.

What drinks are available at the venue?

Polly Bar offers amazing cocktails, a wide selection of spirits, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, with plenty of vegan options. They also serve Absinthe traditionally with a water fountain and sugar.

Is there food available at the venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Polly Bar offers three types of Jaffles, as well as cheese plates. Nibbles such as popcorn, edamame, nuts and olives are also available. If you are after something more substantial, there are plenty of delicious choices all around Polly Bar to visit before the event starts.

How many performances are there?

Unless stated otherwise, the event will feature two performances.
