Polish Book Club
Read Polish literature, connect with other book lovers, and experience the many benefits of reading.
We will be meeting in a very relaxed, easy-going atmosphere to explore the topic of friendship.
We’ll be reading the witty, warm and interesting letters exchanged between two great Polish poets Wisława Szymborska and Zbigniew Herbert.
You are warmly invited to come along and discover the meaning of friendship that lives between the pages among friends.
If one of your goals this year is to read more in Polish, this is the perfect opportunity. You don’t need to feel “ready” to read in Polish because we read together and enjoy discovering Polish literature in a friendly and supportive group.
Come for the stories, stay for the conversation, and leave feeling inspired to keep reading in Polish.
The event will be hosted in Polish and organised with the partnership with the Polish Australian Chamber of Commerce.
Discover the joy of reading with our Polish Book: Club Bractwo Zaczytanych Dusz (The Society of Bookish Souls). Read Polish literature, connect with other book lovers, and experience the many benefits of reading. Explore timeless classics and contemporary works while deepening your connection to the Polish language and culture. Share ideas, engage in discussions, and form meaningful connections within a welcoming and vibrant community.
With a vast selection of topics and genres, our unique Polish Reading Club offers something for everyone, whether you're a lifelong reader or just beginning your journey into Polish literature. Let's get reading!
All sessions are held in Polish.
Cost for each event is only $15, including coffee, tea and European cakes.
