Weaver and poet, Anne-Marie Te Whiu will lead this workshop using the Botanic Garden as a place of harvest and inspiration.

In collaboration with Red Room Poetry, Weaver and poet, Anne-Marie Te Whiu will lead this workshop using the Botanic Garden as a place of harvest and inspiration.

Create an object while writing the roots of an accompanying poem.

Suitable for ages 16+.

This is a free, COVID safe workshop with limited numbers - bookings essential.

Meet at the Towri Centre (located at number 17 on the Garden map).

Bring a pen and notebook. Weather permitting, this workshop will be outdoors so please also bring a hat, sunscreen, wet weather gear and a water bottle. We will move indoors in the event of wet weather.

This workshop is part of the 2021 Sculpture in the Garden program on display in Wollongong Botanic Garden.
