First Class Podium Dancers presents The Podium Dancer INTENSIVE!!

You have never seen this done before in Perth!! A Podium Dancer focused workshop that not only teaches you how to move, but how to work on your Mental Health and deal with some of the mindset challenges we face as podium dancers ( and dancers in general). This workshop will be a special 3 hours worth of Podium Dancing fun, and 1 hour of Mental Health Therapy!!

-Access to the Mental Health Workshop: Qualified and Accredited Mental Health Practitioner Jade will be running a workshop to help you understand certain themes that come up in the podium dancer world including comparisonitis, negative self talk, and self-judgement. Expect some psychoeducation with some take home tools you can use to start to overcome those themes.

Who are your instructors?

Jade has been podium dancing for 17 years in Perth!! With a huge resume of venues and events, Jade knows how to dance on a podium with her eyes closed. Jade has danced at The Leederville Hotel, The HipE Club ( Head Dancer for 10 years), Club Red Sea, Gold Bar, Villa, Paramount, Metropolis Fremantle, Metro City, Jack Rabbit Slims, Coconut Grove, The Library, The Deen, Air Nightclub, under age events including Sound On Festival, and multiple Fox Sports and Foxtel Televised Fight Night Events. From an era where podium dancers were hired 4-5 nights a week...she knows what is required to impress on a stage. Jade is also the owner of First Class Podium Dancers, and has been providing dancers to events since 2014!! You will be learning from one of Perths OG Podium Dancers!

Not only is Jade a renowed dancer in the Perth podium scene, but she is also a qualified and certified Occupational Therapist. Jade has a passion for Mental Health, and has completed training in CBT, DBT, SFBT and trauma informed care to increase her theraputic skill set. Jade has 7 years experience working in the Mental Health setting including both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, and private practice. Jades main areas of passion is in Youth Mental Health and has worked with many patients with diagnosis of anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, and eating disorders.

Tenielle is one of First Class's original podium dancers, and first stepped onto the scene 8 years ago at The Hipe Club! She is a bombshell on that podium and always hits every single beat. She has podium danced at multiple events and venues including The HipE Club, Gold Bar, Villa, Paramount, Jack Rabbit Slims, Coconut Grove, The Library, and multiple Fox Sports and Foxtel Televised Fight Night Events. Teneille is also a flipping and acrobatic queen. Her energy is contagious and you will always be entertained watching her perform!

Karrie has been podium dancing for the past 6 years, and is a pocket rocket on stage!! With experience in a vast array of genres, she can switch it up to any beat. Karrie started her podium dancing dream at Metropolis Fremantle, before moving to India for a once in a life time opportunity to feature in huge Bollywood performances. She spent 6 months learning and performing in India, before finally coming back to Perth, to join First Class Podium Dancers to bring her exceptional skills to Fight Nights and venues such as The Library, Paramount, and for Perth’s Bollywood podium scene. Trust us when we say...you really are learning from one of the best!!!
