Designed and led by Dr Michael Wheeler, this hands-on workshop is the second in the series, building on the Science Communication Skills Workshop with a specific focus on podcasting. Dr Wheeler is a Lecturer in Science Communication at the University of Melbourne, Research Fellow at Deakin University, and co-founder of Let's Talk SciComm, the #1 ranked science communication podcast globally with 130+ episodes (Feedspot). 🎧
This workshop is part of the exciting launch of ✨ Mind Matters, a new student-led podcast exploring the latest mental health research at the University of Melbourne. The podcast will feature graduate researchers from the Mental Health PhD Program (MHPP) and the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences (MSPS), alongside special guests, with the first series spanning 5 episodes. Dr Wheeler will be hosting and producing Mind Matters, using these workshops to help our researchers find their podcasting voice. 🎤
