Overview

Not Another Digital Transformation

Not Another Digital Transformation

Why speed, tools and frameworks aren’t enough — and what project professionals need to rethink.

Organisations have invested heavily in digital transformation, agile ways of working and new delivery models. Yet many project professionals are still navigating misalignment, burnout and constant change with limited impact.

Based on the book Not Another Digital Transformation by Ady Kalra and Mary-Beth Hosking, this keynote challenges the idea that transformation is primarily a digital or technology problem. Instead, it invites project professionals to rethink how organisations are designed, how work flows, and what role projects play in enabling real change.

This session introduces the concept of the 10xGeneration — a new way of thinking about organisational agility, adaptability and continuous reinvention — and explores what it means for those delivering change on the ground.

In this session, we’ll explore:

  • Why many digital transformation initiatives fail to deliver lasting change
  • The hidden organisational constraints that slow down projects and teams
  • What “greenfields” thinking looks like inside complex, established organisations
  • How the 10xGeneration mindset shifts the role of project professionals
  • Practical questions you can take back to your organisation to enable better alignment and flow
