Do you want to make music with people more often?

Do you want to help build on the local live music scene?

This is your opportunity to make a commitment to your music on a regular basis.

Musicians, singers, d-jays and bands (aged 12-24yrs) are invited to Plug & Play which offers a creative playground where you can take your creative practice to new places.

Warm up your sounds for the upcoming Battle of the Bands or Discovered competitions in 2024.

or come along and have a jam with old friends and make new friends too!

Bring your instruments (pedals, drumsticks) and technology.

D-jay decks, Korg keys, drums and backline provided.

PLUG in and PLAY.

A timeslot will be allocated per date for one band rehearsal.

Select this ticket if your band wants to rehearse with the Hub Erina's thumping sound gear.

Select attendee numbers to reflect the number of people in the band and then enter their names and details.

Youth Services will be in touch with the band rep to confirm details.

Rehearse with your band, jam and collaborate with others or learn lights and sound with THE MASTERING GUY.

Entertainment students have an opportunity to gain practical experience with live productions and event through the vocational placement program, Let Me Entertain You.

Frequently asked questions

Who can participate?

Musicians, Singers, Djays, aged 12-24years old. Students aged 15-24years old with an interest in the entertainment industry or a currently studying Stage 6 Entertainment Industry, Event Management or Sound Production.

Is there an application process?

Musicians, Singers, Djays need to sign up but do not need to apply to participate. Applications for vocational placement are required for the Let Me Entertain You (LMEY) program. Simply select a ticket for LMEY on the date you wish to start and fill in the required information.

How is the vocational placement program allocated?

Applications will be assessed on the applicants’: i. Level of training ii. Commitment to pursuing a career in the industry iii. Demonstration of training and skills iv. Reasons for undertaking the placement, including how it will assist in career development and what skills are hoped to be gained.

How will I know if my application is successful or not?

Applicants will be contacted via email and/or phone.
