Plenty Gorge Park Walk- Morang Wetlands
Join a Parks Victoria volunteer-led walk through the Morang Wetlands at Plenty Gorge Park.
Come and enjoy a morning walk through the beautiful Morang Wetlands at Plenty Gorge Park. Learn more about this unique section of the park with our friendly and knowledgeable volunteer guides. Discover the large variety of birds that inhabit the wetlands and learn about the habitat that supports them. Murray Long neck turtles also call the wetland home, see if you can spot one.
Whether this walk is a once-off exploration or a new part of your fitness and wellbeing routine, you are free to relax and enjoy what walk has to offer.
The approx. 4 km walk is an easy, beginner level walk and takes around 1.5-2 hours to complete. Expected terrain is mostly even with some moderate escarpments over bitumen, gravel and grass.
Please note the following:
- Bookings are essential.
- Meeting Point is the end of Wiltonvale Rd, South Morang, opposite 111 Wiltonvale Rd, just inside the park gate.
- This event may be cancelled at the last minute due to extreme weather conditions.
- You will be emailed if the event is cancelled.
- In the event that your circumstances change, and you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket (instructions below) so our guide is aware and does not wait for you to arrive. This will enable another person to attend, as there is often a waitlist for this event.
1. Go to your order.Log in to your Eventbrite account. Then go to "Tickets" and click on your order.
2. Choose "Cancel Order".Desktop — Select 'Cancel Order" (next to your order details). Then choose “Yes, cancel this order".
Eventbrite app — Select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and tap “Cancel order”.
3. Check for an email from Eventbrite.
The attendee and event organiser receive an email to confirm cancellation.
