Description

Reflecting on the role of women as both food producers and providers, this breakfast seminar hosted by the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), will explore the gender dimensions of agriculture and food production.

Our speakers will offer perspectives from research, business and the land, and how women can continue to impact agriculture globally.

  • Robyn Alders AO, Principal Research Fellow, The University of Sydney

A panel discoussion will follow, facilitated by Barbara George-Jaeggli, Research Fellow from QAAFI, at The University of Queensland.

Please arrive at 6:45am, for a 7:00am start. Breakfast will be served during the presentations. This event will finish in time to attend the first TropAg2017 session of the day.

This event will not have allocated seating.
