Walk down to Wyong River for the chance to see a wild platypus.

Catch waterbugs, test the water quality and listen to talks from experts.


Join a birdwatching walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Woodbury Inn Park, Mardi!

9am – Event starts. In addition to the activities listed below, there will also be a platypus art & craft stall available throughout the day.

9:30am – Acknowledgement of country

10am – 10:45am: First Waterbug hunt and platypus talk and bird walk

11-11:45am: Second Waterbug hunt and platypus talk and bird walk

12-12:45pm: Third Waterbug hunt and platypus talk and bird walk

1-1:45pm: Fourth and last Waterbug hunt and platypus talk and bird walk

2pm finish.
