The National Retail Association team are the leading industry experts on plastics bans across Australia, and can answer your curly questions on current and proposed bans across Australia and New Zealand.
Every day, our team are visiting hundreds of retailers in their stores, as well as providing materials, websites, online sessions, hotline and email contact channels. We understand that while retailers are highly supportive of phasing out single-use plastics, some businesses face challenges understanding different rules in each jurisdiction, as well as transitional issues across the supply chain.
We host information sessions on key active bans (see Individual Ban Sessions here), however some businesses are impacted by multiple bans.

Monthly info session
This monthly session is designed for national businesses impacted by multiple state bans to pop-in to receive a regular update across all bans, and to ask any questions.
- All sessions are held online via Zoom (you will receive a link after registering, this is the same link for all dates).
- The info sessions are the first Friday of each month (excl. Pub Hols)
- Our sessions are open and free to all retailers and suppliers impacted by the ban.
