A FREE 8 week conversation based book club

10.00am – 12.30pm every Wednesday from May 1 to June 19

Every age and stage of life is different so why not thinking positively about ageing?

This conversation series, follows the chapters of the book "Getting Older" by Lia Parsons.

It provides an opportunity to share with and learn from others about what it takes to successfully grow older with meaning, purpose and passion.

Some of the topics explored include:

home, belonging and community, the reality of ageing, ageism, money matters, living with meaning and purpose, importance of social connection.

What if I don't have the book?

Copies will be made available for loan through the book club or can be purchased from the authors at cost.

I'm not sure I can make all eight weeks?

Whilst it is recommended to attend all of them we know life gets busy so dont worry come to those that you can.

Who would come to an event like this?

People who are curious and keen to live their best life into the future. Because of the topics it is most suitable for those aged 65 and above.
