Overview

Feeling stuck with the Planning Cycle? Join me to rethink, refresh and rediscover meaningful planning in early childhood settings.

Planning for Learning: A Thinking Approach

How might you describe your relationship with the Early Years Planning Cycle? Are you feeling a little stuck? Or perhaps looking for an opportunity to reimagine how planning lives in your place? Join me for a day of dialogue and professional learning as we think with the Early Years Planning Cycle. Drawing on the Early Years Learning Framework, we will explore the cycle as an orientation for thinking, gently nudging beyond a mindset of simply completing steps. In this workshop, we will examine the Planning Cycle as a dynamic approach to understanding children’s learning and reflecting on our own practice. Together, we will explore the ideas that inform each phase, consider tools that can support intentional decision making, and strengthen connections to practice through examples of documentation. You can expect a small, focused group; a reflective day with space for conversation and collaboration; and practical thinking grounded in real examples. Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and the National Quality Standard (QA1). A relevant learning opportunity for services involved in Kindy Uplift. Walk away with fresh perspectives on the Planning Cycle and documentation, along with practical strategies you can begin using in your context straight away.

Join me for a reflective, practical day of thinking with the Early Years Planning Cycle. Small group. Real examples. Fresh perspectives. Perfect for educators and leaders wanting to reimagine planning in their place.
