Event description

Description

Collaboration goes against the ideas and stereotypes some people have of entrepreneurs, and whilst the lone entrepreneur can be triumphant, success is often aligned with finding the best partners, persistence and the drive to scale up.

In South Australia, if you don’t collaborate with others it is unlikely that your business will reach beyond state borders, let alone the world. Business leaders, academics and researchers studying entrepreneurship recognise collaboration and information sharing is an important mindset.

This event is for entrepreneurs (including intrapreneurs and social entrepreneurs) and innovators that are not only good at sharing information and ideas but they are eager to make connections. While it may be possible to unearth a brilliant idea by yourself, getting inspiration, support and introductions from colleagues is a much better path, particularly if you have a national or global vision.

Come along to an informal evening where you can pitch opportunities to collaborate, with a mindset of giving first and providing value, making introductions and enjoying drinks, nibbles with a little bit of music.

Co-hosted by Wendy Perry, Workforce BluePrint and Mark Keough, Meechi Road Consulting.
