About this event

Learning to preserve food through the ancient art of pickling and fermenting can help you to waste less and tread a little more lightly on the earth.

This workshop is part of a broader program with Grow It Local, supporting you to grow food at home, connect with nature through gardening, and experience positive impacts in health, wellbeing and sustainability.

At this event you will:

  • learn how to pickle
  • learn how to ferment
  • take home a jar of pickles and a jar of sauerkraut

What to bring:

  • an apron (only if you want one)
  • a drink bottle
