PIANC: Port Adelaide Outer Harbour Channel Widening Technical Seminar

The PIANC SA Chapter invites you to attend a Free seminar in July. Flinders Ports are dredging the Port Adelaide channel to handle wider ships and the project team have kindly facilitated a PIANC technical seminar discussing the project from concept to delivery and the day will include some inspection of the plant employed to do the job. The presentation will include technical information directly related to some PIANC guidelines including ‘WG171 - Ship handling Simulation Dedicated to Channel and Harbour Design’ that is currently in development.

Tea & Coffee provided, some drinks will be offered at 5:00pm.

Attire:

- Long sleeve shirt

- Long pants

PPE required (visitor to bring)

- Steel cap boots

- Hard hat

- High vis vest / high vis weatherproof jacket if required

PPE required (will be provided)

- Safety glasses (if required)

- Life jacket / personal floatation device
