About the Speaker

Andy Ford is the M Director and Co-founder of the Ford & Doonan Group (Air conditioning) F&D started in 1985 when Andy was 19 years old and over the last 39 years the company has grown to be the largest air conditioning company in WA with annual revenues exceeding $75 million. The Ford & Doonan group consists of 11 franchised stores plus the company owned operations based in Kardinya. These operations contain the groups service dept., the solar division, the online E commerce business :The Air Store" , the commercial division "FDHVAC", the Builders Direct division, and their retail sales division. The company has more recently begun installing ducted air conditioning in Melbourne and plan to open one to two stores there in 2024. His "hobby" businesses include XS Fitness, a 800 member gym in South Perth and he mentors other rising star business owners with any spare time (Not much of that) Andy has learned business the hard way, by just giving it a go and learning along the way. Andy's business experience spans from franchising to e-commerce stores to investing for the future.
