Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) National Standards Launch
Defining excellence in claims management.
Event Details:
Date: 10 February 2025
Time: 9:00am - 11:30am
Cost: Free (registration esstential)
Join us for the official launch of PIEF’s National Standards - a landmark initiative designed to elevate personal injury claims management across Australia.
The National Standards provide a practical, evidence-based framework to define excellence in claims service delivery. They include:
- Four industry standards built on professionalism and capability.
- Thirteen competencies outlining clear performance expectations for claims managers.
- Supporting tools such as learning content, assessment models, and reporting frameworks.
The National Standards aim to:
- Create national consistency across jurisdictions.
- Uplift capability and support workforce development.
- Define excellence in claims management.
- Build trust through fair, consistent, and person-centred support.
- Allow individual claims management skills to be mapped to the Standards regardless of jurisdiction, enabling those working in the industry to have portability in their skillset.
The National Standards have been developed by industry, for industry, with national representation on the development working groups and oversight committees.
You will be hearing from national industry leaders, including PIEF's David Fryar, CEO, and Louise Stuart, General Manager, as well as WorkCover WA's Chris White, CEO, and Rebecca Harris, General Manager.
Attendance will be valuable for all members of your claims team. Gain clarity on what high-quality claims management looks like and how the National Standards will shape the future of our industry.
_
Note there are two sessions running on this day, both covering the same content. As places are limited, please register for one session only. This ticket provides entry to the morning session, running from 9:00am to 11:30am.
