Overview

A unique Persian cooking experience held in a Persian home with fascinating Persian artifacts

Wake up, get ready, come to us and discover the enchanting flavours of Persia in this authentic, hands-on and immersive breakfast cooking class in Royal Park!

These beginner-friendly sessions are part of the Savouring Persia series, giving you the chance to uncover the genuine essence of Persian culture and embrace the heartfelt hospitality and warmth of a Persian home.

These sessions are a beautiful mix of culture, memories, and family inspirational recipes. And when you join, you're all in for a real treat.

Weekends in Iran fall on Thursdays and Fridays and like the Saturday and Sunday mornings in Australia, a big family-focused breakfast feast is in order, especially on Fridays. If the weather is great, then a picnic spot is found to share the meal together in nature.

For the picnic, you can find everything from cheese and butter to jam and honey to wheat lamb porridge and sheep's head and tongue too. Eggs (fried or boiled) and so many different kinds of omelettes.

Ellie will provide you with an unforgettable culinary journey where you'll learn the time-saving techniques and authentic recipes passed down through generations.

Dishes you will make together are different at every session and will include some of the following:

- Persian Omelettes (Date, tomato, spinach and more)

- Hot breakfast stews like Fereni (milk rice pudding), Adassi (lentil porridge), Halim (Wheat and lamb Porridge) and more

- Many Persian ways to cook eggs like Nimroo (fried egg), Ab-Paz and more

- Preserve many fruits and vegetables by turning them into delicious jams

You'll get to experience many new food combinations and recipes like how to brew Persian tea.

Whether you're in it for the fun or want to learn more about Persian culture, our small-group setting ensures personalised attention, allowing you to hone your skills and create mouthwatering dishes in Ellie's welcoming living room.

Please note: You could book a date for your group and on these private dates, children are welcome to join.
