The Community of Practice (CoP) facilitates mentorship and support for GPs and practice staff who are enrolled in Pathways to Safety Program – The Readiness Program by providing an opportunity to clarify, reflect and reinforce learning gained though the training and to strengthen relationships in your local region. The CoP is delivered to you by Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN and the Safer Families Centre.
This month’s session brings you an invaluable opportunity to share and discuss with other practices who are enrolled in the ‘Pathways to Safety’ training. Facilitated by GPs, Dr Ralph Audehm and Dr Colette Hourigan, the session will help to unpack some of the learnings, challenges, and facilitators for implementing effective change and enhancing your practice’s capacity to recognise and respond to domestic and family violence. The session will include information and support for two QI Activities associated with your training. This CoP qualifies as an RACGP 40-point Audit Activity (self-reported), in addition to the 40 CPD points clinician’s received for completing Pathways to Safety - The Readiness Program.
