Artwork by Dennis Pitt

Wednesday, 6th June -- 7:30-9:30pm

Reg Bryne Community Centre, Darcy Rd and Fyall Ave, Wentworthville

Connecting and Refreshments start at 6:30pm

  • What the Makarrata process is all about and why it matters to all of us, as individuals and as a nation

  • How can we grow honest truth-telling in our families and organisations

  • What we can do, as individuals and groups to contribute towards justice and agreement making, and finally treaties as a nation

Carol Vale grew up in an Aboriginal mission and has lasting ties to the Dunghutti, Gumbaingirr and Anaiwan peoples. Carol has worked in many government and community organisations and recently started her own company, Murawin, to drive change for First Nations people and strengthen cultural diversity in organisations.

This highly interactive event is organised in collaboration with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations who will also contribute to the evening and is supported by City of Parramatta Council.
