Derrick Ernst Neighbourhood CentreMorley, WA
Monday, Mar 16 from 10 am to 11:30 am AWST
Overview

A practical and supportive workshop to help parents confidently start toilet training with tips, tools, and real-life strategies.

Overview

Toilet Training Workshop

Ready to start toilet training but not sure where to begin? This supportive and informative workshop is designed to help parents and carers feel confident and prepared for one of the biggest toddler milestones.

We’ll cover everything from the basics of human biology and the history of toilet training, to society’s expectations and what readiness actually looks like. You’ll learn:

  • When is the right time to start (and how to tell if your child is ready)
  • What equipment you really need (potties, toilet inserts, jocks and more)
  • How to prepare yourself and your toddler for success
  • Strategies for getting started—and what to do if things don’t go to plan
  • Tips, encouragement and real-life advice from experienced facilitators

There’ll also be time for questions at the end. Whether you’re just starting to think about toilet training or feeling stuck in the middle of it, this workshop will provide the tools and reassurance you need.

Where: The Den, Derrick Ernst Neighbourhood Centre, 5 Tara Street, Morley.

When: 10am - 11:30am, Monday 16th March 2026.

REGISTRATIONS ESSENTIAL.

Babies are able to attend this session. Please arrange alternative care for older children. The Den is an occasional day care facility and offers child care facilities.
