Steve Parsons (UK) – Referred to as the 'gold standard in ghost-hunting by the Wall Street Journal, Steve has been investigating and researching ghosts, poltegeists and haunted houses for more than 50 years!

A consideration of infrasound and its relationship with reported paranormal experiences. The talk will examine what infrasound is and what are some possible causes of environmental infrasound before moving into a brief exploration of it as a potential role in some reported paranormal and anomalous experiences. The talk will conclude with a more general consideration of other types of sound and future areas of study.

When Science Confronts the Unknown

Marc D’Antonio (US) – Degree in Astronomy and is the Mutual UFO Network’s (MUFON) Chief Photo/Video Analyst, host of SkyTour Radio on KGRA, and host and creator of SkyTour LiveStream. Speaker at Contact In The Desert conference.

Marc D’Antonio is a man of science, being qualified as an Astronomer. He’s experienced paranormal experiences throughout much of his life including out-of-body experiences (OBE), near-death-experiences (NDE), seeing and hearing ghosts, journeys into another dimension and miraculous healing from chronic medical conditions. Marc has been on a journey to decipher his paranormal experiences through the lens of science, which only failed miserably in explaining the phenomena! Consequently, Marc discovered Quantum Mechanics, which offers substantial explanations for this phenomenon! Science has been crippled by events outside the standard experiences! Listeners will come away thinking that there is more than meets the eye!

This topic and journey of exploration will be all about the deep trance/hypnotic state of mind (resting ego). Under hypnosis, many clients develop and embody an alternate persona featuring a change in linguistic style of speech, a change in demeanour of an all-knowing being, and the acquisition of knowledge beyond their physical experience. There is an overarching theme of love, support, and wisdom; there are messages and advice about who we are and why we are here on Earth; there are emotional descriptions about other time-lines and past lives; and most importantly, clients seem to know exactly what they need at that moment and how to heal. 

Exploring the visual content of consciousness: Taking a deep dive into imagery within intentional remote viewing, clairvoyant, and mediumship sessions vs. spontaneous psi experiences.

Prophets throughout the ages have described cryptic visions that both intrigue and frighten us. Visual imagery is an important aspect of all psi modalities, those that are intentional and spontaneous. In this presentation, a classification system of such imagery will be presented. Imagery differs in terms of its symbolic (conceptual) vs. materials (literal) representations, and operates on a spectrum, from simplistic to complex. Themes emerge across modalities and intuition, although there are wide differences. Training, experience and awareness play a role. Imagery in waking psi vs. dreaming and precognitive psi will be discussed. The complexities of identifying whether a vision is due to a psychic/mediumistic experience versus a mental illness will also be explored.
