Overview

A family welcome workshop that will take you to a fascinating world of papermaking.

In this class, you will learn to make paper from everyday tools and materials. Guided by a practicing papermaking artist Kanako Enokida, you will learn process and chemistry of papermaking step by step, followed by some of the advanced decoration techniques such as watermarking, embedding and more. All the materials will be provided, you will be introduced to unique pulp to form paper - such as ones made from discarded books and clothes. At the end of this class, you will be taking home beautiful pile of your own handmade paper, as well as skills and techniques that you can experiment further at home.

This course will be a great opportunity for you to step into the unique and versatile world of papermaking.

*Please note that pulp will not be the exact colours as the images, it will be more of shades of natural tones, potentially some colours depends on the availability of the pulp on the day.
