Paintings of Light: The Art + Science of Stained-glass Windows
A hands-on workshop for budding artists to explore light, colour and technology.
About:
Join us at the Duldig Studio Museum + Sculpture Garden these school holidays to explore the colourful world of stained glass art. Children will be inspired by the studio and home of artist Karl Duldig, as well as iconic stained glass from around the globe, such as the windows of Notre Dame and the creations of Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse.
In this hands-on workshop, young artists will experiment with the science of light and optics as they craft their own stained glass–inspired artwork to take home. They’ll then collaborate on a large modernist stained-glass installation that will shine proudly in the Duldig Studio windows.
Suitable for ages 7 - 12
Bookings essential, places limited.
