Painting Class - Paint your Pet - April 27, 2024

Our Paint Your Pet party is a very special event where you get to honour your faithful friend!

Your beloved pet will be pre-drawn onto your canvas so all you will have to do is fill in the blanks. Don't panic! I will be there to guide you along the way and demonstrate with my own pet portrait.

You will need to provide a clear photograph of your pet at least 1 week prior to the event so we can make sure the canvas is ready in time.

Photo's need to be...

* Clear and well lit especially with a black pet.

* Head and shoulders, facing the camera, showing the face and eyes. Headshot is better than full body.

* One pet only.

* Try to capture their personality if you can :)

FAQs

What do I need to bring into the event?

Just bring your sense of humour and a sense of wonder. You are about to play with paint!

Where is the venue?

The Pickled Paintbrush - 5/10 Shields Crescent, Booragoon

What about drinks and snacks?

BYO - we don't have anything available for purchase so feel free to bring your favourite drinks and snacks along.

Can children participate?

Yes they can! You know your kids better than me so you know what they are capable of.

They must have a participating adult with them. Each participant needs to have a purchased ticket.

Things to consider are...

• How long can they stay focused? Paint Your Pet classes can run for 3 to 4 hours. Younger kids sometimes can't last that long.
• How intricate the painting might be. A smooth, blonde Labrador might be easier for a child versus a black Komodo dog with dreadlocks :)
• How much help will they need? I'll help as much as I can but I'll be helping everyone. You'll be working on your own painting so you'll be limited with how long you can help them.
• It's up to you... go with your gut :)
