Paint Draw Explore with Bridget - Thursdays -Term 1- Age 10 +

Weekly Thursday art class for children aged 10+. Drawing, painting and mixed media, printmaking and more. 9 weeks.

This regular weekly class for older children is run by artist and experienced educator Bridget Seaton . Term 1 will run for 9 weeks every Thursday from 5 Feb - 2 April 2026 at Atwell House - no rufunds for missed classes.

Painting and drawing are an important part of this class and is often the starting point for a project that follows one or two themes per term. This class extends beyond traditional painting and drawing and children are given the opportunity to try out different ways of working such as: print making, collage and mixed media work, bookbinding and craft, acrylic and water-based paints, pastels and pencil and occasional 3D modelling.

Work is not purely representative, and students will have the opportunity to explore elements of design, abstraction, personal expression, decorative art, pattern and craft.

No refunds for missed classes. REFUNDS - up to 7 days before the class begins (less the Eventbrite fees - which are approximately 5.5%)

Please bring an A3 heavy cartridge paper sketchbook to the first class - ALL OTHER MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED. This sketchbook will typically last for a few terms. Tips on where to buy a sketchbook will be sent with booking link.
