Founder of the Wirlomin Noongar Language and Stories Project, Kim was the inaugural Western Australian of the Year in 2012, is a member of the WA Writers Hall of Fame, and has been recognised as a WA State Cultural Treasure. He is currently a Curtin University Distinguished Professor in the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry.
Join us as Kim talks about the book That Deadman Dance . Set in the first decades of the 19th century around what is now Albany, it explores in playful, musical prose the early contact between Aboriginal Noongar people and the first European settlers.
