⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Award-winning OVERTURE is an immersive, contemporary dance spectacle, unveiling the palpable moments before the curtain rises.

WHODirection/Choreography - Tegan Jeffrey-Rushton (with cast collaboration)Co-Production - Artisma Creative CoPerformers - Holly Finch, Yukino McHugh, Robert McLean and Neale Whittaker amongst othersMusic Composition - Love Supreme WHATA whimsical journey unveiling the palpable moments before the curtain rises and the performance begins. This immersive contemporary dance work disrupts the theatrical norms, allowing spectators a glimpse backstage into the intricate tapestry of a private moment, amplifying the seemingly mundane.OVERTURE pulls back the curtain, inviting us to see the art before the art - a portrayal of the lives, dreams, torments of all those involved in the creation of a show. What defines performance - Is it merely the audience's presence, or could it encompass the moments before and after ‘the show’? Perhaps life itself could be considered a perpetual performance, blurring the lines of identity and reality. An overture where the first note is the final...how do we define beginning and end?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The List UK - “A real treat for dance fans and those who’re dipping their toes in the water of dance alike.”⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Adelaide Antics - “It is a performance that doesn’t just entertain, it challenges, provokes and lingers long after the curtain call.” WHENWed 1 Oct 7pm - 2 Tickets Left Thu 2 Oct 8.30pm Fri 3 Oct 9pm Sat 4 Oct 6.30pm - New Show Added Sat 4 Oct 8.30pm - SOLD OUT WHEREETERNITY PLAYHOUSE Newly reopened COST$50 (full price) $40 (concession) LINKS:https://www.instagram.com/overt__ure/ WARNINGS

OVERTURE is a roaming performance and audience members will move through the space as the show unfolds.
