Our beautiful coastal spaces are a large part of the Gold Coast lifestyle and instrumental in shaping our culture and experience. Our Beaches and Waterways workshops are a fun way to care for and learn about our coastal spaces while having valuable conversations with our enthusiastic City team.

Our Beaches Dune Planting Workshops

Our Beaches Community sessions are hands on. Together, we plant native vegetation, collect litter, weed invasive species, and deliver education on the importance of coastal management. Limited spaces are available per session, so bookings are essential.

Help strengthen our coastline and join the City's Beaches team for a community Dune Planting morning.Stable dunes are critical to the health of our beaches. They also form a key defence against erosion, protecting people, properties and infrastructure.Together we can get our hands sandy, have some fun and help save our beaches.If you enjoy being outdoors, being part of a community and would like to make a difference to our natural environment this event is for you. If you can't secure all the ticket types you require at the time of registration please do not book. Each workshop is set to a maximum capacity. Do not book children on adult tickets.
